The Telkom Foundation’s primary objective is to contribute to the transformation of disadvantaged communities through sustainable development programmes. The foundation collaborates with the government, the private sector and educational institutions to improve the quality of education in science, technology, English and mathematics.  

The foundation works with selected high schools in the public education system to support learners, educators and school leadership towards improving the quality of teaching and learning. In addition to providing ICT ecosystems, the foundation offers a range of academic and non-academic, or psychosocial support programmes.
