INVESTEC
Investec’s Corporate Social Investments (CSI) are central to the group’s philosophy of making an unselfish contribution to society. Their approach to CSI focuses on education and entrepreneurship. Investec believes initiatives in these two areas are the most effective way to create employment, wealth creation and socio-economic growth in South Africa.
Their overall aim is to create opportunities for young people to become active participants in society. To achieve this, Investec recognises that there needs to be a continuum of initiatives, starting from high school, moving to tertiary education and continuing through to young adult learning.
Investec’s CSI strategy can therefore be depicted in a progressive pipeline, spanning three stages of personal learning and growth. Investec is passionate about empowering talented, hardworking individuals so that they may realise their potential.
