Tomorrow Trust

Tomorrow Trust is a South African education nonprofit committed to ensuring that a child’s potential is not determined by where they are born or the circumstances they grow up in.

We provide holistic, data-informed support that follows young people from Grade R through tertiary education and into employment. Our approach recognises that academic success alone is not enough. Young people need the right combination of academic support, psychosocial wellbeing, career guidance, digital skills, mentorship and exposure to opportunity to thrive.

Through our Saturday and Holiday School Programmes, learners from under-resourced communities receive high-quality academic enrichment alongside psychosocial support, career development and digital learning, strengthening both their educational outcomes and their confidence to navigate their futures.

Our Whole School Support Programme takes this approach directly into partner schools. Using learner and school-level data, we identify barriers to learning and target interventions that strengthen individual learner outcomes while contributing to improved performance across the wider school environment.

Tomorrow Trust is also an implementing partner of the Department of Social Development’s Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) programmes, extending psychosocial and social support beyond our education programmes and directly into communities. Through this partnership, we are able to systematically reach children, young people and families with preventative, developmental and psychosocial interventions that strengthen wellbeing, resilience and positive behaviour at community level.

At tertiary level, Tomorrow Trust supports young people through bursary funding and holistic student development, including academic and psychosocial support, mentorship, career development and work-readiness opportunities. Our support continues beyond graduation through our Alumni Programme, helping young people navigate the transition into meaningful employment and build sustainable careers.

Together, these programmes create an interconnected ecosystem of support across schools, communities, tertiary institutions and the workplace, enabling Tomorrow Trust to walk alongside young people at every critical stage of their journey, from playground to professional.
