Masicorp works for the people of Masiphumelele township, focusing on education and skills development, and the projects range from pre-school to adult learners. Masicorp bridges the gap by helping disadvantaged community members to access quality education. By offering skills necessary to help individuals identify and take up opportunities, Masicorp supports people on their journey towards a sustainable livelihood, using education as a route out of poverty,
The key outcomes of Masicorp projects include improving learning outcomes for pre-and primary school children, and preparing children for a successful school career. This takes place through early childhood development programmes and primary school literacy and numeracy support. Masicorp also supports adults and teens/youth with digital literacy skills, while increasing access to technology in this under-resourced community. Masicorp's sewing and lifeskills programmes help residents gain confidence in themselves and increase their employability.
Masicorp believes the community should have a direct input into programme design and the help that is received. This is why the majority of Masicorp staff are developed from the Masiphumelele community. The Masicorp teacher training programme uplifts local women, helping them to achieve their early childhood development qualification while being employed in a Masicorp educare centre.
