Epilepsy SA was established in 1967 as the South African National Epilepsy League (SANEL). We are the only national organization in South Africa offering specialized and comprehensive services to persons with and affected by epilepsy. Our aim is to enhance and improve the quality of life of our target group.
VISION: Epilepsy South Africa — igniting the flame of potential.
MISSION: Epilepsy South Africa promotes human rights and an inclusive society for persons with disabilities, primarily persons with epilepsy. The aim of the organization is to ensure that people develop to their full potential through Dedicated Residential Care and Protective Workshops.
Beneficiaries
Our beneficiaries are people with epilepsy and other disabilities who live in the communities and are unable to function independently in the mainstream working environment. The workshop offers an empowering safe space for day-clients to work and learn essential life skills. The ability to be productive and go to work every day goes a long way in creating and building self-worth and belonging.
