This project is centred on Grade 4 students and aims to enhance their reading comprehension skills through a comprehensive after-school program, with a primary focus on English and mathematics.
The initiative will include engaging activities such as after-school reading marathons, offering dedicated one-on-one sessions to identify and address individual challenges in comprehending basic texts.
Additionally, the project will incorporate debates and readathons, fostering a healthy competitive environment that not only enhances comprehension but also cultivates a genuine enthusiasm for reading with purpose and meaning.
By combining targeted interventions and dynamic activities, this project seeks to significantly enhance the reading abilities of Grade 4 learners while nurturing a lifelong appreciation for meaningful reading.
